With its jazzed up exteriors and interiors, Titanium Blu will slot in between the Titanium and Titanium+ variants in the Aspire lineup.

The new Aspire Titanium Blu gets a sporty makeover with a blacked out grille, rims, as well as a two-toned roof finish. The Titanium Blu's fog lamp area retains the blue bezel like its hatchback counterpart. 15-inch tyres and sporty decals cross off the outer area of the car.

The 2019 Aspire Titanium Blu features blue themed interiors alongside a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The cabin remains well equipped with gizmos such as push-button start/stop, parking sensors and USB slots, among many others.

And since most of the changes remain cosmetic, the Blu edition gets the same set of features as the Titanium variant inside, including embedded satellite navigation, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, rear view camera, remote central locking, automatic climate control and power windows, among others. However, when compared to the top-spec Titanium Plus, it misses out on crucial features like the SYNC3 infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers. This shows it's similarity with the Titanium variant.

Mechanically, the car remains unchanged. The petrol version of the Ford Titanium Blu is powered by the same 1.2-litre Ti-VCT, 3-cylinder engine which provides a power output of 96PS and 120Nm of torque. It delivers a fuel efficiency of 20.4kmpl. The diesel variant is powered by the 1.5-litre TDCi engine, delivering peak power of 100PS and 215Nm of torque, with a fuel efficiency of 25.5kmpl.

The 2019 Aspire Titanium Blu comes with two front airbags as standard. Aside from airbags, the car also comes with occupant safety like Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD). Ford will offer the Aspire Blue with a 5-year/ 100,000km warranty, which includes a 2-year factory warranty and a 3-year extended warranty.

In the end, if you are looking for a top-spec variant of the Aspire, the Titanium+ would be the way to go since the Titanium Blu shares features with the Titanium variant. But if it's sporty looks you are after, the Aspire Titanium Blu would be the logical compromise while maintaining many premium features. A big bummer though is that it does not get the more powerful 1.5-litre petrol engine with an automatic gearbox which is present only on the Titanium variant. The Aspire competes against the likes of the.
