are based. In fact, the Series III Ghost has been spotted testing in Europe and here's what the British luxury car is likely to offer when it goes on sale in 2021.

Rolls Royce's camouflage game is quite solid as it has managed to hide all the significant changes on the Ghost effectively. Nevertheless, the headlamps look slimmer - almost sporty - while the roofline has been modified slightly. Various reports also say that the next-gen Ghost may debut an AWD system along with four-wheel steering. The spied Ghost was also seen sporting different wheels at the rear, which might also mean that they were testing the four-wheel steering setup. However, the technical details remain rumours for now.

As mentioned before, the next-gen Ghost is likely to be based on Rolls' 'Architecture of Luxury' platform. This all aluminium platform is expected to reduce some of the heft and make the baby Rolls more dynamically competent. The familiar 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 is likely to put out 550PS of maximum power and torque figures of around 800Nm. There might also be a 48V mild-hybrid setup which, along with powering the limousine's electrical systems and magic-carpet-like adaptive suspension, will also power a low-end torque improving motor-generator.

The interiors of the new Ghost were also spied earlier this month and judging from the spy shots, it takes inspiration from the Phantom and the Cullinan SUV. The instrument cluster might make the switch to a fully digital one along with the infotainment system. The analogue clock still sits in the same central position and the AC vents seem to be the same ones that are offered currently.

Expect the new Ghost to debut by mid-2020 with sales set to commence in most international markets, including India, by 2021. The current-gen Ghost retails for Rs 5.25 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
