With an aggressive price tag, MG aims to take the segment by storm. The manufacturer has 120 centres across India and plans to expand that list to 250 by September 2019. The first units of the Hector will be delivered to customers on 29 June 2019. MG also wants to assure peace of mind for its customers, by offering 'MG Shield' which includes five free services, 24X7 Pulse hub assistance, 5 years/unlimited-km warranty and roadside assistance. There's also an assured buyback plan offered by our sister company Cardekho, where customers can trade in their Hector after 3 years and get 60 per cent of the value back. MG also offers various service packges at an additional cost for up to five years.

The Hector competes against the, Mahindra XUV500, Hyundai Tucson and the Jeep Compass, and its prices make it a really tempting proposition. We have already compared these models on paper, but do stay tuned for a real-world comparison of these SUVs.
