in camo livery and different configurations, testing at the Nurburgring in Germany. Latest images have revealed the Taycan with barely any camo on the streets of Shanghai in China. The Taycan is Porsche's first proper attempt at the electric car market. It is built on the J1 platform and takes inspiration from the Mission E concept that was revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2015.

Although the Taycan has been spotted almost undisguised, it is still hiding some tidbits. Starting from the front, the Taycan's rectangular shaped headlights get a similar black tape masking and a fake headlight vinyl around the area like previous spy shots.

At the rear, there is a black tape masking the thin LED strip of tail light that runs along the tailgate. However, the abnormally large fake taillight wrap around the area is no longer present. The fake exhaust tips at the rear of the car can also be seen here. The only difference in these images is the side vents, which are actually stickers.

Porsche is yet to reveal the technical specifications for the Taycan, but it has claimed that it will have handling dynamics like the. The carmaker also claims that the Taycan will be one of the zippiest Porsches around with a 0-100kmph sprint time of around 3.5 seconds. Its range is also expected to be around the 500km mark.

These spy pics give an indication that Porsche is looking to expand to China, especially considering the positive reception for all-electric cars in the Chinese market. The Porsche Taycan is set to be revealed soon in September at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales set to begin in December. Porsche plans to produce 20,000 units of the Taycan in its first year. In addition to this, a wagon/crossover variant of the Taycan called the Taycan Cross Turismo is also expected to come out next year.

While there is no word on whether the Taycan will reach our shores, with all-electric vehicles like the headed here, we can be hopeful about the Taycan arriving here.
